Predator Free Tamahere is a volunteer-led community conservation project protecting native wildlife across Tamahere’s gardens, gullies and river corridors.
Whether you have a gully or garden, practical skills, local knowledge, or simply want to support local wildlife, there is a place for you in Predator Free Tamahere. Every contribution helps strengthen predator control across our community.
Share local knowledge
Tell us about predator control on your property, pest sightings, gully or bush block conservation, or any useful local contacts. You can join our Trap.NZ project and record your catches there, or contact us and tell us directly.
Come along or volunteer
Attend our community events, help with traplines, or lend practical skills, such as repairing traps.
Sponsor traps or equipment
Help provide traps, bait stations and monitoring equipment for priority habitat areas.
Donate or Give a Trap
Support predator control across Tamahere through a direct donation or by donating a trap via Give A Trap.
